Local

  • Young Life takes the message of the gospel to students on school campuses across our county, building relationships for the sake of introducing students to Jesus.

  • Food for Thought serves the students in our community identified as most at-risk of food insecurity, providing meals and support in the name of Jesus.

  • Life Choices Rowan supports and equips women and families, often in moments of crisis - such as unexpected pregnancy, through caring, Christ-centered relationships.

  • Power Cross is focused on providing young men with positive role models and a vision for what their lives can be using athletics, discipleship, and academic support as springboards for change.

  • FCA seeks to reach and disciple coaches and student athletes at campuses across our county for the glory of Jesus.

  • A local church plant unlike any other, Find Your Way Church ministers to the “least of these” in our community - people experiencing homelessness, food scarcity, and poverty.

  • Main Street Marketplace and Meeting Place fights poverty and other socioeconomic challenges through responsible charity, building a stronger community through real relationships and by equipping those in need.

  • NC Baptists exists to connect and mobilize like-minded churches throughout our state for the purpose of collaboration around the Church’s shared mission - making disciples through the glory of Jesus

Domestic

  • Over the past three decades, the population of Cabarrus County has tripled - while the number of churches in the community has not changed. Risen Church, a Pillar Network church launched in 2023.

  • Research indicates that New England is the “least churched” area of the United States. In such a dark spiritual climate, churches faithful in their gospel work shine brightly - and Redeemer Fellowship, a Pillar Network church, is one of those churches. The financial partnership of Life Church in 2023 has helped fund Redeemer’s pastoral residency, training pastors to plant new churches in and around Boston/New England.

  • The Pillar Network is a community of Southern and International Baptist Churches that are doctrinally aligned, missionally driven, and committed to equipping, planting, and revitalizing churches together. Pillar helps churches like ours connect and collaborate with other like-minded churches and leaders for the sake of the kingdom.

International

  • The need for theological education and pastoral training around the world has never been greater. Critically, the areas where the church is growing the most around the world are also the areas with the least access to training and development for pastors. Through a ministry called Pathways, Reach Global seeks to grow healthy churches and advance the gospel by training pastors and leaders in their local context.

  • Cochin (also known as Kochi), a port city in southern India of more than two million people, is home to a predominantly Hindu population. The evangelical churches that do exist are marked either by rigid legalism or the prosperity gospel. Grace City Church, a Pillar Network church plant, is a growing community centered on the grace of Jesus.

  • In October 2024, we introduced our congregation to the Campbell and Pisano families, who are serving in Barcelona, Spain with SERGE. While in Spain, they hope to bring the good news of Jesus to people through relational evangelism and supporting the local churches, using their gifts in hospitality and music.
