1 Peter 2:18-25

Three Questions:

  1. When should we suffer under authority?

  2. How should we suffer under authority?

  3. Why should we suffer under authority?

“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” Matthew 16:24

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree” Galatians 3:13

But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

  1. The way you suffer under authority is a testimony to the world about Christ.

  2. Pray for wisdom.

  3. Seek wisdom.
