2 Samuel 11:1-27
Unexpected Grace - our Advent sermon series - will follow the women in the genealogy of Jesus. This week we look to the story of Bathsheba (the wife of Uriah) from 2 Samuel 11:1-27.
And he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the LORD said, “Arise, anoint him, for this is he.” 1 Samuel 16:12

Three truths we can cling to:
No one is beyond God’s saving reach.
Nothing is beyond God’s providential hand.
No past sin, trial, or trauma disqualifies you from God’s present and future purposes.
